New Mambo Grill Time |
| We are playing at a new time at our favorite bi-weekly resident gig. The Mambo Grill. Instead of playing from 7:00 to 9:30 we are playing from 8:30 to 11:00 pm every other friday. We can rock louder and play for a more devoted crowed instead of chasing away the families who just wanted dinner (although they tended to stick around). We are excited about this new time, so come down and check us out soon! Check out "shows" for details. |

Taiwan is our newest friend |
| So we went to the other side of the world and returned a new band. We were so well recieved and had such a good time that we will undoubtedly be going back. Maybe even this summer.
The people and the bands we met were so cool and talented that we also came back freshly inspired. A new song has actually been written inspired by a jam phil and brandon had with some other musicians there.
Not only were we inspired by the people, but the tropical environment and the mountainous landscape was also incredibly breadth taking. The Spring Scream festival was held at Kenting National Park which was one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen.
And finally the languages. Chinese and Taiwanese was so unique and facinating to us that lowercase p is now buffing up on our Manderin. Although most people spoke english, if we plan on maintaining a relationship with our newest friend we feel it necessary to say more than Hello and thank you (Ni hao and she she). |

OK, so now we can talk. We are going to Taiwan. After a few crazy weeks of finishing our album and rushing to get our passports, lowercase p will be performing at the Spring Scream festival in Kenting National Park, Taiwan. We are lucky enough to be one of four bands from america (the only from Massechuesetts) and plan to bring our lowercase p flavor to the other side of the world. The landscape looks beautiful and we will return with full documentation and stories of adventure.
Now, I mention our album being finished and I don't mean to tease, but this is the first version we put together to share with a foreign country. We have been working on this release for many months and plan to release the official version this summer. This push to finish tracking and mixing on such a short deadline really brought lowercase p a new sense of acheivement. The recording sounds amazing and has brought our songs to a new level. We are going to bring that enthusiasm to Taiwan.

| lowercase p is doing something special and unheard of. At the next few mambo grill shows, we will hand out 15 original copies of a uniquely mixed CD with two songs. One song will be a rough mix of an album cut. The other will be a completely exclusive song to that show and will have been created in the two weeks prior to the show. These CD’s are part sneak preview and part collectors item. Stay tuned to see what we do with all the tracks in a couple months!
