Phil Reese became a real keyboard man in 1997. After taking piano lessons as a young child and hating it, he rediscovered the keyboards
after a best friend named Jon Anderson explained the benefits.
He is A guitar rocker at heart, but only at heart, as his first guitar broke before he could play a single note. He is a jazzer
by practice, because he needed it to preface his love story. He is a martial artist,
but only because he karate chops his keyboards. He is a musical story teller, a rubbery dancer and a funky human being.
Once he began playing with other people in high school he felt the energetic bubble created around a group of musicians playing together.
Whether that bubble was magic, spiritual, scientific or an unknown, he was hooked.
After floating forward, honing his skills as well as his Viking heritage, he lowell-nova-ed into Gabriel and Brandon at UMASS Lowell.
After living and playing with them since 2001 they became brothers, musical soldiers and lifetime friends bent on recreating that
bubble until it took them over as well as different listeners who happened to catch them in the act.
Drawing on influences from all genres of music, daydreams, waffles and the industrial sunrise, Phil found a lowercase sound.
lowercase p drew upon the mill city for a cultural foundation which grows with each new ear.
Phil feels like a feline. He is happy and hungry for 9 lifetimes.
